The key to the Safety Alert Seat lies in the sophisticated design of the driver’s bottom seat cushion. Two small, powerful motors, known in engineering as eccentric rotating mass (ERM) motors, are integrated into the left and right side bolsters of the seat.
When your vehicle's cameras or radar sensors detect a hazard, these motors generate distinct vibration pulses. The primary advantage of this system is directional intelligence.
